I am not sure what level I should apply for / where my experience fits best. What should I do?

Without a full review of your qualifications, our team will be unable to appropriately answer this question. Please review the content on the Opportunity page to learn more about each role and apply to any openings you feel are a match for your experience and interest based on the job description. Our team will review your qualifications and reach out if we have questions or are interested in pursuing next steps.

Can I submit my resume via email for general consideration?

All applications must be submitted via Kaiser’s website to a specific opening for consideration. If we do not currently have an opportunity posted that best suits your experience, continue to check back – Kaiser is growing and continues to add opportunities at all levels.

Do you offer sponsorship for international candidates?

You must be legally authorized to work in the country in which you are applying to work. Kaiser offers sponsorship to a limited number of international candidates each year in our DC office for experienced roles but unfortunately cannot offer sponsorship for our Associate Consultant opportunity at this time.

I am not sure if my application was submitted correctly. How can I check?

You will not receive an email confirming receipt of your application; however, you should have received a confirmation message on the last page of your application stating that your application was received. If you are receiving an error message, please contact our Recruiting Team.

What should I expect to hear back about my application?

Each position has a unique timeline, but we typically respond to applications within 2-4 weeks. If you have not heard from us after that time, use the “Contact Us” form below to connect with our Recruiting Team for an update.

I was not selected for a position. Can I get feedback on my application?

Unfortunately, our Recruiting Team is unable to provide individualized feedback on applications at this time. If you are interested in reapplying, we recommend reviewing the content on our Careers website to ensure you are presenting your most relevant skills and appropriately showcasing your interest in Kaiser.

Recruiting Process & Timeline

When do you recruit?

We recruit year-round for a variety of positions; please check our website for current openings.

Campus recruiting occurs in the late summer/early fall for full-time positions; internship recruiting occurs in late fall/early winter.

What does the interview process look like at Kaiser?

Interview structures will vary by role, but Kaiser typically employs both behavioral and case interviews to assess candidates. Every position starts off with a phone interview and is typically followed by a virtual video or in-person interview.

When do you hire interns? Can I work for Kaiser during the semester?

We typically begin recruiting for summer interns in the late fall at both the undergraduate/Masters and MBA levels. Review the internship program information provided on our Opportunity page for more information.

We do occasionally provide informal work opportunities for students during the semester; please email our Recruiting Team for information about current opportunities. Alternatively, current students with advanced language skills can submit their information to our contractor database for consideration for international research assignments.

I’m currently a student finishing my degree. What should I do if Kaiser does not recruit on campus at my school?

Kaiser recruits on campus at a select number of schools, but we host virtual events at many colleges and universities. Please check the recruiting platform utilized by your school (Handshake, Simplicity, etc.) for information on our events each fall. We are always open to qualified candidates regardless of their educational background. If we do not actively recruit at your school you are still welcome to apply and you will be considered.

Due to the high volume of applications, we receive for our opportunities, our Recruiting Team regretfully cannot schedule informational interviews for candidates.
